Why the NUVO Collective watch will be my first and last….

So, I recently got obsessed with Kickstarter, and boy, am I crazy for it. I’ve been wanting a watch for a while, but I couldn’t find one that wasn’t too manly or too feminine. So, I stumbled into The NUVO Collective. Best stumble online. Ever. First off, it’s a beautiful watch, absolutely stunning with a minimalist look that looks right at home on anyone’s wrist.

The company, NUVO Collective, is based in Sydney Australia. With an incredible attitude and awesome vision, this pair of mad geniuses came up with these awesome watches made out of wood. Yeah, wood. The line is based on the concept that a watch should be as flexible as your style, so they made easy to interchange bodies, with rad straps. They come in five styles:

From top left to bottom right: The Explore, The Sail, The Traverse, and The Roam. As you can see, they are quiet simply stunning. Personally, I’m getting The Roam. They are all expertly crafted and are even waterproof up to 50m.

They are live on Kickstarter and have already reached their goal, however, their extended goal is to release another body, The Journey, if they reach $15,000 AUD.

So, help them out and get yourself and AMAZING watch. I’m so flipping excited to get mine. I already know it’ll be an everyday item. 2015, COME SOONER!

Introducing… Top Ten Tuesday

I want to introduce regular blog post series’ to Studio 900, so Tuesday’s will be our Top Ten day in the week, call it TTT for short (Top Ten Tuesday). For this week…..

Top Ten things I wish I had:

10. Minecraft Torch

First off, how cool does that look?! I found this in HMV one day and it disappeared the next, but I found this online at ThinkGeek (why hadn’t I seen this website before? I’ll have to look into this…). It’s $24.99 and to be honest, it seems it’s worth it. Imagine exploring the world with this as your light? From when I held it, it seemed to be very good quality, and really well made, actually seeming as if I was suddenly in Minecraft.

9. Rhett & Link shirt

So, as you can see from my previous blog post I’m a huge fan of Rhett & Link and their daily morning show, Good Mythical Morning. And while I want everything in their store, I really want this shirt. It’s $20.00 on their store and it’s really cheap for a merch shirt…I should know…

8. John Watson’s Coat

I love the BBC series, Sherlock, and I love both Martin Freeman, and Benedict Cumberbatch’s performance as John Watson and Sherlock Holmes. I love John Watson’s sense of style, it’s really carless but stylish. And this coat by HelloCosplay is actually a functional coat, and it’s also JW’s coat. For $118.00 you can get this tailored, fabulous coat.

7. Totoro Bed

Totoro, a lovely, mythical creature who is my imaginary best friend. Sleeping on cuteness costs though, $329.00 on Amazon, to be precise. But, but, LOOK AT IT!!!!!!!

6. Star Trek everything

Star Trek door chime ($29.99), Star Trek Dress ($39.99)…I could go on, but, you get it.

5. MacBook Pro

That puppy looks mighty fine for blogging and all sorts of awesomeness. Currently working towards one, at $1,399 it might take a while.

4. Katana Sword

Ever since I watched the movie Hero (2002) I have really wanted a sword like the characters had. Firstly, the movie is beautiful and should be watched by everyone. Secondly, this sword looks AMAZING.

3. Female Ranger Costume

If I had this costume I would probs never take it off. And at $1,035.37 I wouldn’t want to. It’s from the Etsy store, TwoGentlemenoFortune, check ’em out.

2. $1,000,000

Self explanatory, and trust me, if I had a picture, I’d post it.

Look at that cutie!!!! I love pigs, and Minecraft pigs take it to the next level. If I had one, I’d make it follow me around everywhere…. $? Priceless.

Thanks for tuning in for Top Ten Tuesday!!!!!!!!
